Q: How does Ultra Violet Disinfection work?
A: Ultra Violet energy causes permanent inactivation of micro-organisms by disrupting DNA (the reproductive material) so that it is no longer able to maintain metabolism or reproduce. The maximum effectiveness occurs between 240 and 280nm, depending on the organism. UV kills all bacteria, fungi and moulds, as well as spores and viruses.

Depth filter cartridges, made from spun polypropylene. Micron rating from 1 through to 75 for particulate removal.
Wound filter cartridges, made from wound polypropylene. Micron rating from 1 through to 100 for particulate removal.
Pleated filter cartridges, made from polyester. Micron rating from 5 through to 50 for particulate removal.
Washable filter cartridge, made from nylon mesh. Micron rating from 40 through to 350 for particulate removal.
Bag filtration, made from polypropylene. Vast range of sizes and micron ratings available for removing high volumes of contaminant.
Carbon filter cartridges, made from activated carbon for removal of taste and odour.

Q: What is Polyphosphate Dosing?
A: Polyphosphate dosing systems coat metal surfaces within the pipework and cylinder, etc, with a thin film of polyphosphate, creating a surface which does not attract limescale. Once conditioned, limescale simply passes through a domestic water system without sticking to heat exchange and metal surfaces.
